Happy Thanksgiving!Hope everyone has a great day full of good food, family, and fun. And yes, we are defrosting our 13lb turkey in a clean bucket in our bathtub - that's what we do when there's only one sink available and we're running out of time to defrost it.

You could just fill the whole tub with water. The turkey would thaw alot faster and the rubber ducky would have more room too!
We thought of that, except that the thaw directions said we had to change the water every 1/2-hour. Filling the entire tub seemed like a waste.

You probably wouldn't have to change the water in the bathtub every 30 minutes. The only reason you are changing the water in the bucket every 30 minutes is because the water gets too cold, and doesn't defrost the turkey as fast. With a bathtub full of water, you wouldn't have that issue.
Well, whatever - it was still a bit too much of a pain to use the entire bathtub.
